Let's be honest, "self-care" can feel like one more thing on an already overwhelming to-do list. Between school, work, family, and trying to keep up with everything else, carving out time for yourself can feel almost impossible. Or worse, selfish.
But here's what I've learned: you cannot pour from an empty cup. Taking care of yourself isn't a reward you earn when everything else is done. It's maintenance. It's necessary. And it doesn't have to take hours.
Here's a simple evening ritual you can build with just 20–30 minutes:
Step 1 — Draw the Bath (5 mins) Add a scoop of Soothing Bath Salts to warm water and let the scent do its work before you even step in. Light a candle if you have one. Put your phone in another room.
Step 2 — Sink In (10 mins) This is your time. No scrolling, no planning, no problem-solving. Just warm water, soft light, and your own company. Use the Silicone Scalp Massager while you're in there. It feels incredible and it's genuinely good for your scalp health.
Step 3 — Skin Care (5–10 mins) After your bath, apply the Downtime Face Mask and let it sit while you get into something cosy. Follow up with the Facial Moisturiser. Use your Gua Sha and Roller for a few minutes (there's a guide on the website if you're new to it).
Step 4 — Just Be That's it. You're done. Notice how you feel a little lighter, a little softer, a little more like yourself.
You don't need to overhaul your whole life to prioritise yourself. You just need to start small, and start somewhere. I hope Bunneka can be part of that somewhere for you. 🐰
