How to use our Gua Sha and Roller

What is a Gua Sha?

The Gua Sha is actually one of the oldest forms of Chinese medicines. Through the gentle massaging of the face, it is designed to improve blood circulation, reduce puffiness and hyperpigmentation, relieve muscle tension and much more. Some even claim it has helped to slim down their face and make it appear more toned.

How to use a Gua Sha:

1. Jawline

Starting from the chin and working upward toward the ear, use the small indent in Gua Sha to gently massage along jaw line. Repeat 15 - 30 times per side for a more defined jawline.

2. Cheek bones/side of face

Starting from side of mouth and working up toward ear, gently massage underneath the cheekbone using the flat side of Gua Sha. Repeat 15 - 30 times per side for more defined cheekbones.

3. Cheek/eye lift

Starting from just below the eye and working up toward the temple, gently massage cheeks using the flat side of the Gua Sha for a lifted face. Repeat 15 - 30 times per side

4. Forehead

Starting from brows and working to the top of your forehead, use the flat side of Gua Sha to gently massage in upward motions all along the forehead for reduced wrinkles and a lifted face. Repeat 15 - 30 times.

5. Neck

Starting from right underneath Jaw and working down to the indent above the collar bone, use the flat side of Gua Sha to gently massage neck for a more defined neck and reduced double chin. Repeat 15 - 30 times both sides.

How To Use the Face Roller:

The Face roller is much less complicated than the Gua Sha. Simple roll along face in an upwards motion. Under eyes, and along cheekbones, jaw, and forehead.

TIPS!!

1. Only ever massage in an upwards motion, never downward!! This way you are lifting your face. This applies to application of skin care too. This does not apply to the neck massage.

2. Try keeping your Gua Sha and Roller in the fridge or freezer for a more cooling and refreshing effect and better results!
