How to use our Gua Sha and Roller

What is a Gua Sha?

The Gua Sha is a smooth stone tool used for facial massage, and the practice is a very old one with roots in traditional Chinese wellness. Used slowly at the end of the day with a moisturiser or facial oil, it turns a few minutes of skincare into a small ritual.

How to use a Gua Sha:

1. Jawline

Massage along the jawline from chin toward ear using the small indent. Repeat 15-30 times per side.

2. Cheekbones/Side of Face

Using the flat side, massage under the cheekbones from mouth toward ear. Repeat 15-30 times per side.

3. Cheek/Under Eye

Apply the flat side from below the eye upward to the temple, keeping the pressure very light. Repeat 15-30 times per side.

4. Forehead

Massage upward from the brows to the top of the forehead using the flat side. Repeat 15-30 times.

5. Neck

Massage downward from beneath the jaw to the collarbone indent using the flat side. Repeat 15-30 times per side.

How To Use the Face Roller:

Simply roll along face in an upwards motion - under eyes, along cheekbones, jaw, and forehead.

TIPS!!

1. Always massage in upward motions on the face, never downward. (Neck massage is the exception.)

2. Store your tools in the fridge or freezer if you like the cool feel.
